NSCF: Giving Back

In the year 2016, National Service & Reserve Staff collaborated with INDEX Conferences & Exhibitions to organize the first edition of National Service Career Fair (NSCF), exactly 10 days before the scheduled date of the event. It was held in a tent in the desert of Suweihan, Abu Dhabi, with more than 30 exhibitors from different sectors such as banking, police force, health authorities, insurance, telecommunication, universities, among many others.

It was a challenging event in terms of setting up the tent and equipping it with electricity, water, restrooms, food court, parking, prayer rooms, and security.

With an exceptional INDEX management team that brings in years of valuable experience to deal with complex situations, we were able to deliver all the requirements in an orderly and timely manner. We were applauded by National Service & Reserve Staff as well as exhibitors for the memorable experience.

It was agreed that NSCF should be held in an exhibition center in the coming years, since the event profile had tremendous expansion potential.

From 2017 onwards, NSCF is held annually in Abu Dhabi at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), growing from 3000sqm in 2016 to 9,592sqm in 2019 of total exhibition area covered.

NSCF was primarily an event which featured exhibition only; however, now the exhibition is complimented by new features such as workshops, assessment zone, startup zone and many others.

We are proud to be part of the UAE Government’s initiative to facilitate employment and development opportunities to UAE Nationals who have contributed to the nation by being a part of National Service.
