Becoming AEEDC Dubai: The Largest Annual Scientific Dental Conference and Exhibition in the World

It is immensely satisfying to witness the phenomenal success achieved by AEEDC Dubai over the past 24 years, which owes its tremendous progress to a rich scientific program, presence of top-quality conference sessions, scientific lectures, workshops, poster presentations, the participation of the world’s best scientific talents, and more importantly, the support of the global dental industry.

UAE International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition – AEEDC Dubai was launched in 1997. The first edition hosted an exhibition of 35 companies and a total of 1200 visitors visited the show. With so many developments taking place in the field of dentistry, we recognized the need for world class dental education, advancing of skills and exchanging technical know-how with aspiring dentists and clinical practitioners. In the consecutive years, AEEDC Dubai Conference was introduced alongside the exhibition.

Parallel to the development of the conference, we learnt the industry faces multiple challenges and needs a common platform to discuss helping decision makers to make note of and learn from each other.

The Global Scientific Dental Alliance (GSDA) is a non-political and not-for-profit alliance which was formed. The alliance committed to the promotion of oral health care through dialogue and networking. Today, the GSDA Meeting witnesses the presence of representatives of various dental organizations from across the globe. This diversification greatly helps to maximize ideas that could foster educational topics and initiatives for the member countries. By sharing and cooperating, this collaboration brings dentists from around the world to a forum where they can learn from hands-on experiences that were successful in their fellow members’ countries and bring it home to educate their members.

As a testament to AEEDC Dubai’s world-wide recognition, today it has rightfully earned the highest global distinction of becoming ‘The Largest Annual Scientific Dental Conference and Exhibition in the World’. We are extremely delighted to witness the participation of more than 66,000 visitors and participants from across the globe in the AEEDC Dubai 2020 Edition, which is undeniably a remarkable success since its humble beginning in 1997.

Today, we as leaders see the importance of transferring the AEEDC Dubai experience to the world by sharing our expertise with dental institutions, associations and bodies all over the world. AEEDC is spreading its wings by organizing various events like AEEDC Education Cairo, International Aesthetic Dental Congress, and many other regional events. AEEDC Global Education Conference and Exhibition is an initiative we aim to achieve in the year 2021.
